Can you use Magnolia tree leaves in compost?
Yes, but they should be shreaded. Run over them with a lawn mower with a mulching blade if possible. I would not just rake them up and put them in a compost pile. U can use just about anything that will break down. IE: Newspapers, crushed egg shells, paper bags. THe finer it is shreaded the better it will work.
