Mine bloomed at the begining of the summer and now ost iys leaves again( I thought I killed it) and is now blooming again.
Did everyone know a Japanese Magnolia blooms twice?
Depending on what kind of shape it is in it may have been making one last effort to reproduce before dieing. OR what ever you did to it sent it into shock and it perceives the shorter days as being the beginning of the spring.
Reply:I think they only bloom 2x per year when they are under stress.
