No one has lived in the house next door to me for several years and there is this beautiful Japanese magnolia in the front yard. It's just wasting away and I want to dig it up and move in to my yard, but I don't know how far into the ground I should dig or what. The tree isn't very tall, less than five and a half feet. Can someone please help me? Suggestion on how to move it without killing it or damaging it, please!!
Moving a Japanese magnolia...?
dig out a big circle around the tree, trying to get all the roots, lift out trying to get as much soil as possible and set on a big piece of plastic ,wrap it around the tree and move.
