it is a minature and 7 years old
Why won't my magnolia tree bloom?
My Magnolia is about 15 years old and had only a few blooms on it this year. Other years there were tons. I'm told it was because we had some very warm weather very early, then it got cold and stayed cold a fair amount of time. It's like the tree was tricked into thinking it was spring so it tried to bloom and they were killed by the cold. Just a thought to consider depending on what part of the country your in.
Reply:r u giving it the right attention..maybe its not a magnolia tree..
Reply:ur not holding ur mouth right! give it some bloom booster, and it might bloom when it's next turn comes around!
Reply:My experience tells me you need to pore beer on it
Reply:Sometimes it can take between 8-15 years for a magnolia tree to bloom. You may want to try fertilizing the tree, and having the soil tested to make sure it isn't lacking any essential nutrient.
Reply:It's usually an early bloom time, even when there is still frost, but if you are in zone 7, it might only go every 3 years.
Reply:not enough water?
