I am looking for all the pros and cons.................
We are thinking about moving to Magnolia, Texas, any thoughts?
Magnolia is one of the fastest growing areas in the Houston suburban area. About 45 miles from Houston it will still take over an hour to commute into the city during heavy traffic. Though close by is the Woodlands area and Conroe and both are well established and nice. The area is at the bottom of the Piney Woods area of east Texas so is much more like Louisiana than most of Texas. There are nice lakes in the area for boating. The housing is still reasonable, and cost of living is just above the median for the US.
All in all a good choice.

Reply:Don't know what part of Texas that is. If it's near San Antonio or Austin, you'll probably like it.
