Pickle juice for magnolia trees?

heard it helps to grow?

Pickle juice for magnolia trees?
I've never heard of this. Pickles are sometimes preserved in brine (concentrated salt solution) which is harmful to most plants.

I don't know of anything in pickle juice that would benefit a plant. I wouldn't take the chance.
Reply:I've never heard of this, and I don't know. The only thing I would consider is the salt in the brine. Salt will kill anything green. Look at some peoples' lawns in the spring.
