You should use a priemer and do it again... You wont get those lines after that
Reply:use thick white paint then go over with the new colour....or stick to magnolia.
Reply:you should apply a primer coat 1st. Then apply the new color. Primer will seal in the old and keep the new even.
Reply:You probably need to put a primer on it since the color was so dark it's coming thru the lighter color. Or it could be the cappuccino paint isn't mixed well enough and you're getting the unblended color.
Reply:haunted house probably same thing happen to me............................... heh just kiddin

seriusly i dont know what your talking about but good luck wit it.
Reply:You might have to paint with KILZ. It puts a protective barrier between the new and old colors. It's white and once it's dry, you should be able to paint any color over it.
Reply:I would go w/ "Answerer #2, for "-R", you Rock..Id do the Same exact thing, !!!, or go w/ "Primer + magnolia..more than one to two coats..I do suggest that you allow alot of "drying time" inbeetween the coats , as well as the primer..We had to do that w/ our Bedroom because all the paint had a hard time..of "sticking"...because the persons that lived in this house before us..decided to use a "slick " primer..and have also had to "sand " in areas...Thats another thing...Id sand..alittle..then paint the "primer", then "paint two coats" of your "magnolia color"..Hope that this helps you...Thats awesome..Your home Has "alot of awesome History " to it...wow...YOu Take CAre and God Bless You and your family..I pray about you and your baby everyday...*hugzU and your family from us over here in WA State..*;)
