During the fall time that type of tree has mold on it. The leaves will fall off soon and you will have brand new leaves in the springtime.
Reply:no water
Reply:Some spotting is normal for the Magnolia as it draws time for the leaves to drop. This is probably natural stress from transplanting or is possibly early stages of dying. You will be lucky if you are able to transplant this size unless it came with good rooting undisturbed in potting. It will need plenty of water.
Reply:The tree seems to have the measles, take it to the doctor or it could just be acne, buy it some proactive.
Reply:Are you watering it too much? Is it suppose to adapt to the Texas climate??
