I Planted a 7 ft magnolia early this spring and now the leaves are turning yellow and some are falling off....We have gotten plenty of rain so I have only watered it a few times. I thought maybe it needed water when i noticed the yellow leaves but the next day more leaves were yellow than before i watered it. Could it be getting too much water?

Reply:it is getting too much water; plus a newly planted tree sometimes goes into shock. refrain from watering it, especially if you're getting rain. next year it will be fine.
