The only difference between a magnolia and a tulip tree is a tulip is deciduous..meaning it loses its leaves in winter. and the color of its flowers, which are green and orange. A magnolia is evergreen...at least the one most people think of when they think magnolia...large, fragrant white blooms with a glossy, deep green leaf.
