Where can I find a store that sells Green Tea Ice cream other than a magnolia brand?

I've been searching for a good oriental/japanese store that sells Green tea ice cream, but I cannot seem to find one.

Where can I find a store that sells Green Tea Ice cream other than a magnolia brand?
If you're in London there are several - whole foods, john lewis food hall and Harrods there are also good shops in Tooting and Croydon. If you're not in London - sorry can't help! PS What is a magnolia brand?

Is anyone else's magnolia flowering at the moment?

In the UK. Worried it mightn't flower again in spring.

I was thinking of buying a magnolia for my small garden so I visited our garden centre and saw that they had some about 3ft high in pots costing £10 each. They had buds on but no flowers..I think the flowering session is over till next spring. Anyhow I bought one and waiting to see what happens.

Reply:You're not the only one, I've seen a neighbours that briefly flowered again last month.


Same happened with my Wisteria.





Don't worry though, it will flower again in spring.
Reply:I have Magnolia Lilliflora Susan flowering at the moment. It does not have many blooms now but always flowers prolifically in March and August.


M. Stellata and M. Stellata Leonard Messell flowers one after the other in Spring. They are all fifteen years old, happy and only get a "feed" in late Summer.
Reply:Yes, we have a huge magnolia and it is flowering although they are coming to an end now.

Reply:Yes I live in Devon and am a gardener, the various gardens I work in there are five Magnolia trees, all are showing flowers and most are also showing seeds, which I have never seen before, hope this helps.

Mystery Pecan Pie


Crust


1Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crust (from 15-oz box), softened as directed on box


Filling


1package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened


1/3cup sugar


1/4teaspoon salt


1teaspoon vanilla


1egg


3eggs


1/4cup sugar


1cup corn syrup


1teaspoon vanilla


1 1/4cups chopped pecans





Preparation Directions:





1 . Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie pan as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie.


2 . Heat oven to 375°F. In small bowl with electric mixer, beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, the salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 of the eggs on low speed until smooth and well blended; set aside.


3 . In another small bowl with electric mixer, beat remaining 3 eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, the corn syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla on medium speed until well blended. Spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of crust-lined pan. Sprinkle with pecans. Gently pour corn syrup mixture over pecans.


4 . Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until center is set. After 15 to 20 minutes of baking, cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning. Cool completely, about 2 hours. Store in refrigerator.

I have a Magnolia bush and it has bugs or brown places on it what can I do, or is this bl it or what?

I have tryed 7 dust and some other stuff but doesn't seem to be helping, is there something that will get rid of this or do I need to cut it out or all the way down.

Your magnolia may have scale. Bring a piece in to you local county extension office and they will ID it. If it is scale, ultra fine oil is the remedy.
Reply:sounds like scale spray it with sm white oil/ pest oil.

Magnolia Tree - Rockville, MD?

Recently bought a house in Rockville, MD. We have a nice big magnolia tree in the front yard. Recently, its been shedding a lot of leaves. The leave are turning yellow and dropping off. Any thoughts to what this might be. Should I call a professional?

Are there spots on the leaves or are they just turning yellow? If there are spots it's most likely a fungal disease and you can call a tree doctor if you want. Or if you can spray it yourself get Daconil and spray it as directed.





If it's just turning yellow and there are no spots it is probably from an environmental stress and they are sissy plants--they get stressed easily. In this case there is nothing to do but let it go. Usually there is enough stored food in the roots to cause secondary buds to develop and rebud a 2nd time. If it does rebud you can give it a root feeding at that time. Your favorite L%26amp;G Center should have the Daconil or the fertilizer.
Reply:I live in KY and have a huge tree. They do this constantly and it seems you have to rake everyday. Thats the problem with these trees. They're beautiful when they bloom though. I'd like to cut mine down cause i'm tired or raking. There are magnolia trees all around this area and they all do it.

Reply:I have two dogs and a magnolia tree and have never had any problems because of the tree. And I'm sure my beagle has had the buds in her mouth.
